John T. Johns, Ph.D. hails from Franklin, Kentucky. Dr. Johns received his Bachelors in Science from Western Kentucky University and earned his Masters Degree and Ph.D. from Michigan State University. Dr. Johns is recognized one of Kentucky’s preeminent beef growth experts. He taught at the University of Kentucky as an Extension Professor from 1974 until his recent retirement. Upon retirement from the University of Kentucky, Dr. Johns has joined his expertise with the Burkmann nutrition family.
