Feeding Directions

BURKMANN BOVAMAG MINERAL must be mixed with grain or other feed components to provide the intended medication in not less than 1.0 lb of feed/head/day.  BOVAMAG MINERAL should be fed at a rate of no less than 1.2 ounces nor more than 4.0 ounces/head/day to provide 60 to 200mg of Lasalocid.  Four ounces of BOVAMAG MINERAL provides 3 mg of selenium.  Feeding higher levels of selenium is not permitted. Contact a Burkmann Feeds representative for specific mixing instructions.

Precautions

 CAUTION:  The safety of Lasalocid for use in unapproved species has not been established.  Do not allow horses or other equines access to feeds containing Lasalocid as ingestion may be fatal. Mix thoroughly with grain and/or roughage prior to feeding.  Feeding undiluted or mixing errors may result in an excess Lasalocid concentration that could be fatal to cattle and sheep.

WARNING:  A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating cattle.  Do not use in calves processed for veal.

CAUTION:  Four ounces of this mineral provides 3 mg of selenium.  Feeding higher levels of selenium is not permitted.

CAUTION: Contains added copper, do not feed to sheep.
