Dr. Chris DePew
Dr. Chris DePew grew up in northern Indiana, where his interest in animals developed through involvement in 4-H and FFA, working with veterinarians and showing horses. He attended Purdue University where he obtained a B.S. degree in Animal Science. Chris went on to Louisiana State University where he obtained his Master's and Doctorate degrees in Animal Nutrition. Prior to coming to work for Burkmann Feeds, Dr. DePew worked as an independent and field nutritionist for feed companies, calling on livestock operations in the southeast, midwest and northwest. In addition to his work with dairy enterprises, he also developed rations for beef, horse, sheep, goat, deer and elk. Dr. DePew works out of Burkmann's Glasgow store covering southcentral Kentucky and areas of Tennessee. Dr. Depew joined Burkmann Feeds in July 2007.
