Feeding Directions

BURKMANN BEEF MIX 32 SUPREME-BOV is an all-natural protein, mineral and vitamin supplement designed for feeding to growing beef cattle. For rations containing hay or hay plus corn silage and grain, feed at the rate of 1.5 pounds per head daily which provides 150 mg of Lasalocid. For rations where corn silage is the only forage, feed 2 pounds per head daily which provides 200mg of Lasalocid. Intake of Lasalocid in excess of 200 mg/head/day have not been shown to be more effective than 200 mg/head/day. BEEF MIX 32 SUPREME-BOV must be mixed with grain or other ration components to form a balanced ration. Feed continuously.

Precautions

WARNING: A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in preruminating cattle. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.

CAUTION: The safety of Lsalocid for use in unapproved species has not been established. Do not allow horses or other equines access to feeds containing Lasalocid as ingestion may be fatal. Mix thoroughly with grain and/or roughage prior to feeding. Feeding undiluted or mixing errors may result in an excess Lasalocid concentration that could be fatal to cattle and sheep.
