  Feeding Directions

  BURKMANN CALF STARTER-DEC is a textured product designed for feeding as the first dry feed for baby calves. Feed at the rate of 1 lb. per 100 lbs. of body weight per day to obtain 22.7 mg Decoquinate per 100 lbs. of body weight per day. Offer excellent quality hay free choice following weaning. Feed CALF STARTER-DEC until calves reach 350-400 lbs of bodyweight then switch to a grower feed containing Rumensin or Bovatec. Maximum allowable consumption of CALF STARTER-DEC is 4 pounds which provides 3 mg of selenium.

  Precautions

  WARNING:  Do not feed to cows producing milk for food.
  
  CAUTION:  Do not use in feeds containing bentonite.
  
  LIMITATIONS FOR USE:  Feed for at least 28 days during periods of coccidiosis exposure or when experience indicates that coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard.
